About Chuck Hawks and Motorcycles & Riding: I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years, and I hope I have learned something worth sharing about motorcycles and motorcycling in the process. I started riding on a used Honda Super 90 in 1968 and I am now riding a 1550cc Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport. Some of those years, a motorcycle was my only means of transportation, so I rode every day, year around, in all weather conditions. Now I ride strictly for the fun of it, mostly weekend rides on winding country lanes, where my Harley and I can enjoy the freedom of the open road.
